Many years ago, I sought to have a web presence for my small, family-owned home building company located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I set up an appointment with a web design company. While a great many things were discussed in that first meeting, I only remember one thing...the price. When the kind-faced gentlemen with whom I was meeting told me that a starter website began at five thousand dollars, I didn't hear another word. I decided that day to learn to design websites on my own.
Things have changed over those years, and websites are created in an entirely different manner now. Along the way, I have enjoyed designing, re-designing, and learning the latest techniques and technology.
